Poll Boonoke

Traditionally the Poll Boonoke sheep have been big, plain bodied, long stapled, medium to bold medium woolled, early maturing sheep. In continuing the refinement of the Poll Boonokes the focus remains on production versatility to maximise grower returns from both carcass and wool quality and quantities from an inherently fertile and structurally sound Merino.

Favoured in Queensland for many years, the demand for Poll Merinos is increasing in other areas as streamlined, dual purpose production is demanded by Merino breeders.
